How can I improve my XCs and compete for the club?

The club takes an active part in the British Club Challenge and regularly appears in the top half of the results table. The BCC is a friendly, recreational competition for BHPA Clubs and their pilots. The focus is firmly on safety, enjoyment and mentored team flying, to aid pilot development, rather than higher level, out-and-out racing. Many pilots begin their XC flying career flying in the BCC and it's a great way to improve your flying. We're always looking for new pilots to join in so if you're interested in taking part, please drop an email to the Club PG Comps Officer.

We've had some good feedback already about this section - thanks! The more eagle-eyed will note that I've done some more work on it too. If you have any articles you'd like us to include, please email them to me.
