SE Wales Spring Site Information

I have received the SE Wales Club magazine, which lists the following site closures:

Blaenavon – closes 1 March, opens 14 May

Hay Bluff – closes 1 May, opens 1 June. But it’s only closed on the weekdays – you can fly at the weekend.

Pandy – closes 1 May, opens 22 May

Fochriw – no specific closures, but don’t be the person who separates a lamb from its mummy. And bear in mind that the warm weather has meant that lambs are already being born, so watch out at all sites.

Also, the emergency bottom landing at Blorenge is closed because it’s going to be built on. Castle Meadows is the only sanctioned bottom landing now.
